Graduate of Monash University with degrees in Marketing and Psychology, Priti Gathani is a dynamic entrepreneur driven by her passion for creating from the ground up. Her career journey spans diverse fields — from teaching classical dance in Australia and a brief stint teaching English in Malaysia, to collaborating with professional artists to craft conversation-worthy pieces of usable art, including handmade terracotta tables, lamps, murals, and mugs.
Her entrepreneurial path eventually led her into the food and beverage industry, a venture that transformed her from a reluctant restaurateur into a passionate chef and baker. Today, Priti is the proud owner of three vegetarian restaurants, specialising in fusion and Indian cuisine.
With over 16 years in the F&B industry, Priti has become deeply aware of the environmental impact of restaurants from plastic usage to food wastage. She is actively committed to driving change, introducing small but impactful practices to reduce waste and minimise plastic use in her establishments. Recognising the challenges of aligning culture, infrastructure, and awareness with sustainability goals, she continues to champion environmental responsibility, believing that Malaysia is steadily moving towards a greener future.
