Soft Launch

The ESG & Brands Forum (EBF) 2025, presented by BitQuest Sdn Bhd in conjunction with the G100 Brand Leadership Summit, was officially launched at the AICB Centre of Excellence, a Green Building Index-certified centre for sustainable learning.

A key moment of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between BitQuest and the AICB Centre of Excellence, formalising a collaboration aimed at promoting the integration of ESG principles into branding strategies through knowledge exchange, capacity development, and programme innovation.

The event brought together leaders from the government, business and civil society sectors, setting the stage for the main forum on 25 September 2025, which will also take place at the AICB Centre of Excellence. The Forum will be officially opened by the Deputy Minister of Economy, YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, underscoring the government’s support for sustainable branding.

Key voices at the soft launch included Dato’ Ong Eng Bin (AICB Council Member), Adjunct Practice Professor Cheah Kok Hoong (President of the ESG Association of Malaysia) and Shikha Kedia Bharadwaj (Organising Chairperson of the EBF 2025). They emphasised the importance of embedding ESG in professional standards, fostering collaboration, and driving purposeful brand transformation.

The main forum will feature keynotes, panels and showcases on ESG integration, trust-building, inclusive growth and reporting frameworks, with a spotlight on Malaysian brands spearheading change.
