Dr. Carol Wong Mei Sim is a Certified Sustainable Supply Chain Professional (CSSCP) and Certified Inner Development Goals (IDG) Ambassador with over 30 years of industry experience across procurement, supply chain strategy, and sustainability transformation. She supports organizations build supply networks that are not just compliant, but genuinely resilient. Her work focuses on turning high-level ESG goals into practical, ground-level operational strategies—helping businesses navigate global disruptions, manage Scope 3 climate risks, and build agile local supply systems.
Carol’s deep industry roots include serving as Head of Supplier Management and Centre of Excellence Lead for Digital Procurement Transformation at a public listed company, where she spearheaded sustainable procurement frameworks across complex supply chains. Beyond operational strategy, she
brings a strong focus on human leadership as a Certified Inner Development Goals (IDG) Ambassador and HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, helping executive teams and Boards develop the inner capabilities needed to drive sustainable change.
She holds an Honorary Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Dunster Business School, a Certified Sustainable Supply Chain Professional (CSSCP) designation, Certified ESG Innovator and an MBA from Nottingham Trent University.
